SÃO PAULO - Pimenta da Tapera, a social project developed by Instituto Eco-Engenho with USAID/Brazil Energy Program support is now included in the São Paulo Stock Exchange’s (BOVESPA) Social and Environmental market. Through this mechanism the project now reaches the general public interested in supporting social and environmental activities.
The project applies the productive use of renewable energy for irrigation, drying and electricity generation for pepper growing and processing in the community of São José da Tapera in the State of Alagoas.
